The main difference in the W842 model made by Wittman Battenfeld is a rack and pinion drive for the the vertical axis, which allows the robot to handle up to 35kg (75lb) of payload. It can also be fitted with numerous automation features from the Wittmann automation stable such as servo rotational axes, spare I/o-modules, and vacuum and gripper tools. The robot control features include real time functions like TruePath, SmartRemoval, EcoMode, Find’nPick, SmartStart, Dynamic Drive, and connection to the internet.
