The W822 robot by Wittmann Battenfeld features a rack and pinion drive for the vertical axis. It can handle 15 kilograms of payload on strokes of either 1,000 or 1,200 millimeters, and 12 kilograms of payload when fitted with the 1,400-millimeter axis option.
