W832 UHS

The W832 ultra high speed robot (UHS) was developed by Witmann Battenfeld to achieve the fastest part removal times and allow for mold open times of less than 1 second. The machine is able to constantly achieve these short removal times over the long term by having the vertical axis activate directly over the planetary gear box, engaging with a generously dimensioned tooth belt. The vertical axis is designed with an extremely torsion stable kick stroke, which is internally reinforced with ribs and allows for the mechanical absorption of the high acceleration and deceleration forces ranging up to 65m/s2. The vertical axis consists of an aluminum profile which was designed for the lightest wight and highest stiffness while guaranteeing the direct transfer of forces and minimizing the moving masses.
