ML 33
The Wittmann Battenfeld ML 33 is a conventional granulator which fits in the product range between the MAS series and MC series. Due to the size of the cutting chamber (300 x 300 mm) it is also possible to recycle medium sized sprues and parts. It can be used as a beside-the-press granulator or for a small central installation to process soft and medium hard plastics from injection molding, blow molding and extrusion.
This granulator offers regrind sizes of 5, 6, 8, 10, or 12 mm with the cutting chamber being 300 x 300 millimeters. The machine features three blades that offer a throughput of 100-150 kg/h and have a motor output of 5.5kW. It includes a stainless steel regrind collection bin and a sound-dampened stainless steel hopper.
The granulator also offers several optional features, including a replaceable wear plate against abrasive materials for the cutting chamber. A water cooling circuit around the cutting chamber, a mechanical high level sensor in the regrind collection bin, rear feeding for long parts, a magnet along the hopper, and an intertia flywheel for thicker cross-sectioned parts and minimizing motor amperage spikes.
