EcoPower TOGGLE
The Wittenn Battenfeld EcoPower Toggle offers a machine that emphasizes energy saving, cleanliness, and compact design. The all electric EcoPower has clamping forces ranging from 55 to 300 t, and combines efficiency with precision. The machine also offers good accessibility through its open top design on the injection side and for the disposal of the parts at the bottom. The belt-less scores with the compact injection unit and the clean design of the clamping unit, featuring a highly efficient direct drive. The braking energy of the drives is completely utilized by the EcoPower within the machine to provide the necessary voltage for the control system and barreling heat. This causes the machine to be extremely energy efficient and function as a benchmark with regard to their low energy consumption. The EcoPower unit also features a user-friendly design, with special emphasis placed on the small footprint and compact integration.
The EcoPower model offers fast, precise injection with repeatable holding and back pressure. It also offers clean and compact design of capsuled gear unit, while sporting minimal energy consumption with internal utilization of braking energy for the power supply to the control system and barrel heating. Its modest space requirements and low noise emission complement its modular construction kit for a standard, high performance and clean-room design.
The model features a clamping unit with a self locking 5 point double toggle system, a patented belt-less direct drive for the spindle nut, a clean mold space free of lubricating grease through linear guides and sealed toggle encasements. It offers sensitive mold protection, precise platen parallelism across the entire stroke, short dwell times, and a precise clamping force control. The injection unit in the EcoPower model offers optimized melt homogeneity with a uniform L/D ratio of 22:1 with an injection pressure of 2,000 bar with medium-diameter screws. The carriage cylinders are positioned opposite of each other to provide momentum-free Nozzle Carriage. The unit also features twin drive for injection and dosing with a highly dynamic servo motor for injection. It offers a central ball screw drive with automatic central grease lubrication and a removable to barrel with interim position for easy screw change while heated.
